Adventures of a bride: Choosing a Photographer

I referred E to Doll Face. She originally was happy with having a photographer just for portraits, due to her limited budget. But I convinced her having great photos of the entire day is very important since these photos will last her a long time. I suggested two photographers for her that fit within her budget.

I had first met Darah from Doll Face through Cescaphe. Her company helps with the blog on their site. I was excited to bring a new client to her, and I was looking forward to working with Darah.

Our meeting took place at their cute studio, and I couldn’t get over their decor. It was so adorable, with a modern chandelier and brocade furniture. I knew right away that Darah and I had similar styles. Now, we just needed to see if Doll Face and E would hit it off. And they did! Because E’s wedding is less formal, being an afternoon affair, the photography would be a bit more laid back. Our main concerns were on the guests : will they dance, will they drink, will they be animated? As a wedding planner, it’s my responsibility to create an ambiance during her afternoon wedding to make her guests feel relaxed and kick it out on the dance floor even if it’s only 2pm. Mimosas are exceptionally delicious on a Sunday early afternoon!

Darah and E working out a package that fit her budget perfectly and it was flexible by how many hours were going to be needed. Currently, we’re looking at a total of 5 hours, but it may come down to 4 hours, depending on the need. Doll Face also includes their digital negatives with their packages, which is a great bonus for brides on a budget.

For more information on Doll Face, visit their site at and you can see their work on recent weddings on their great blog:

Doll Face also offers wonderful Don’t waste your time looking for affordable Zofran deals anymore, because you’ve found it – buy your medicine for 0.47 USD now! videography and hair/makeup service.

I’ll be visiting Doll Face and some of their past brides for a large boudoir shoot and will be blogging about it once I get back.

In the meantime, I leave you with these photos:
