A few weeks ago, on twitter, a guy offered blogger a free canvas in exchange for an honest review on the product. Although I’m not a photographer, I collect images for all my past clients and display them on the walls of my office. As much as I love framed flat print images, I adore and drool over canvas.

Except, canvas is always so expensive.
Until now.
Meet Hugh at Zaza Gallery. (twitter.com/photocanvas).
$25 will get you an 8×10 photo canvas! Usually, they are at least double or triple that in other places.
Now, since I am not a photographer, my photo of the received canvas does not do any justice to Hugh’s work.
I sent Hugh a high res touched up image courtesty of Doll Face Studio from our past client (which was also featured on Pearls Events Blog and Style Me Pretty!). I chose this image specificially because of the vibrant colors and details.

When the package arrived yesterday, I opened it in my kitchen, and ripped open the box. It was a pretty big box for such a small canvas, but it was wrapped wonderfully! The canvas itself was in a plastic sleeve, and then wrapped a few time around with thick bubblewrap, then placed into a larger box. Nice and safe. Perfect!

My husband peered over to see what I was unwrapped and when he saw the final product, he gasped! The colors, the details… it’s canvas! I swear, it’s brighter than the actual image!

Okay, yes, my iphone image stinks, but trust me, the canvas is stunning. For only $25 for an 8×10, I will be purchasing almost all of my next client’s (and my wedding!) images through Zazagallery.

Here is the back pic, to show the wrapping. It was very tight and neat.
Thanks Hugh!!!!
