Falling for Fall!
Pumpkin Stencil by Twigs & Thistle
This time of year is one of my favorite seasons. The leaves start to change and the air gets crisp. It’s a season when we are surrounded by gorgeous reds, oranges, and browns. Even the air changes and is fragrant with spiced apple and pumpkin flavors. It is hard not to be inspired when you are surrounded by such natural beauty. If you are planning an Autumn wedding, why not translate Mother Nature’s perfection into the decor?

The first and most obvious way to infuse fall into your wedding is through color. Incorporate oranges, browns , reds and yellows into your florals and linens for a warm feeling.
If you don’t want to be too literal with your fall inspiration, you can use a few colored flowers such as orange and incorporate some other warm colors. Using some fruit in the centerpieces can also create a Fall harvest feeling.

If flowers are not your thing , use branches with a few colorful ribbon accents or strands of crystals for a natural but elegant centerpiece.

Use elements from nature for unique décor. If pumpkin orange doesn’t fit your theme, paint the pumpkins for a refined addition to your reception.

Get creative! Use gords for vases or wrap corn husks around a candle holder to create a warm glow.

Antique country-inspired items add to the rustic feel to your wedding. For example use old barrels to make a table for desserts or for your guest book.
