Claire and Brandon held their casual country affair on June 1 at the Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem, PA. Both the ceremony and reception were held outdoors on the site. It was a scorching hot day but the couple and their guests took it all in stride. It turned out to be a beautiful vintage country inspired outdoor wedding! They were such an easy going couple and the event fit their personalities perfectly Benutzerdefinierte Inflatables.

The three flower girls led the way for the bride holding homemade signs. The littlest flower girl wasn’t as interested in holding the sign but she still managed to make it up the aisle!

Claire’s father walked her up an aisle of trees to the top of the hill where the ceremony was held.

Guests sat on colorful quilts while the couple exchanged their vows.

Cocktail hour was held around the corn crib and appetizer were served in the barn.

The grounds at Burnside Plantation were beautiful and needed very little decoration. The barn itself already had elegant draping and historic artifacts that added interest.

The bride had lots of DIY projects that added just the right touch to the rustic venue.

These DIY’s included chalkboard paint stump signs and a calendar guest book. The calendar ,which was made by the bride’s friend, was in used instead of a guest book. Guests had to sign their names on their birth date. I think this is a very creative and useful idea (especially if your not good at remember birthdays!).

Chalkboards around the venue site gave guests direction and incite into the day’s events. I loved this one made out of a vintage door panel!

The bride wrote table assignments on an old window pane instead of using escort cards. She came up with such great ideas that really enhanced the wedding day!

The reception was held under a gorgeous Sperry tent (made from old sails) that filtered the most incredible light down onto the wooden farm tables. The bride and groom opted for mix and match vintage chairs and vintage floral china .

The combination of all these vintage pieces made for a gorgeous country chic reception. We have Magpie Vintage to thank for all of the amazing rentals.

Florals from Papertini perfectly topped off the look of the table settings. All of the vessels that the florals were done in were found by the bride at flea markets.

The quilts that guests sat on during the ceremony were moved down and placed on the fences to add color to the reception. Believe it or not most of the quilts belonged to Claire’s mother! They were a beautiful touch to the area.

The couple brought yard games for their guests to play throughout the evening. They even made their own Giant Jenga!

The food was served family style on each table and it was delicious! They served salmon, ribs, macaroni and cheese and more! Thanks to 14 Acre Farm Catering!

And for dessert… Strawberry Shortcake! Yum it was the ideal summer dessert!

Congrats again to the happy couple! We are glad we had the pleasure to be a part of their special day!
