My Story
I had less than nine months to plan my destination wedding. No one had warned me how stressful wedding planning could be, nor did they tell me that I could not do everything on my own. Feeling lost, I looked for a wedding coordinator who could simply give me advice and help on the day of the wedding. Unfortunately, the coordinators I met with were inflexible and unimaginative, unable to relieve any stresses I was feeling, and even worse, they could only offer me full planning packages for an exorbitant fee, when I only need a day of coordinator. My now-husband and I could not find a coordinator that
truly understood our vision and the multi- cultural aspects that were important to our wedding day (he is Italian and I am Korean). Finding a coordinator ended up being more stressful than the planning itself, and thus, we were determined to plan it all ourselves; based upon the amount of fun our guests had, we were successful in doing so, however at the expense of a few gracious friends who missed out on the beach the morning of the wedding and most of cocktail hour at our wedding.
When I came back from my honeymoon, I decided to change my career path and withdraw the medical school applications that I submitted prior to my wedding, and instead, devote all my time and effort into starting my own wedding coordination business: cHill Weddings, LLC. I saw the need for a wedding coordinator who was personable, willing to customize wedding packages, and embrace multi-cultural weddings, and above all else, relieve all the stresses of the wedding couple and ensure that their wedding day is fun and care-free.
Since 2007, I have been planning and coordinating many beautiful and unique weddings, with an emphasis on multi-cultural weddings. Your wedding will not be treated like another event, but as a special day to commemorate the beginning of a beautiful marriage between two special people. As you may know already, planning a wedding can be stressful. My calm and approachable personality is what makes me a sought after wedding coordinator in the Philadelphia area. I personally work with each couple, and therefore cHill Weddings only accepts a limited number of weddings each year.
If you’re looking for a fun, chill, creative and experienced coordinator who will bring your wedding vision to life, look no further. I look forward to being part of YOUR STORY.
Yours very truly,
