We started their wedding day at the Sofitel Hotel, one of Emily’s favorites.  Due to the size of her wedding party, we booked a conference room where the girls got their hair and makeup done by the fantastic ladies Emily of Cheekadee and Natalie by Hair-by-Natalie.

The personal flowers were dropped off by Petals Lane and they were absolutely stunning, as always by Brittany!

Emily and Scott also did a first look, which was done on the stairs of Sofitel Philadelphia.  Scott gifted her a new pearl necklace, it was beautiful!

Then the couple and their wedding party hopped on the bus courtesy of the Philadelphia Trolley Works and headed to the Art Museum Area of portraits, then to the Franklin Institute stairs.

The ceremony was held in the Planetarium, which may be one of the coolest places to get married.  No matter what time of day, you can pretend you are getting married under the stars, moon, or even a meteor shower!

Emily and Scott did a wine pouring ceremony – they each poured a glass of white wine into a central and each shared a sip from the central glass.  This was a take on a wine ceremony during the Jewish tradition of Benching.

The wedding programs were handmade by Dulcetta Designs in their signature design.

Following the ceremony, the guests filtered out to the exhibit area and dined on hors d’oeuvres provided by Frog Commissary, while admiring the Heart exhibit and pendulum.

The reception was kicked off with a slideshow created by Emily and Scott for their wedding party, with corresponding music for each wedding party member.

The details of the evening were stunning, thanks to Petals Lane for the centerpieces, White Aisle for the Table Number Cards (printed by Dulcetta Designs), and an awesome seating chart by June Park Designs.

That about wraps up Emily and Scott’s wedding day! Congrats to the beautiful couple and it was such a honor getting to know you both during the planning process!
